Harburg-Freudenberger: New Trainees in the Works in Harburg and Freudenberg

On the first of September, 2005, altogether 13 new trainees started their first working day in the firm Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH, nine of them in the Harburg works and four in the works in Freudenberg.

Within the three years to come, the three future industrial clerks, one electronic technologist, five industrial mechanics, three industrial machine operators, and one inventory clerk will get to know all the different sectors and divisions of the respective works. So, the total number of trainees in the Harburg works will be increased to as many as 16 industrial/technical and 5 commercial trainees. In Freudenberg, there are now altogether eleven industrial/technical and two commercial trainees.

The firm Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH is a partner of worldwide reputation in the high-tech industry offering ingenious innovations, complete solutions and future-oriented products: machinery and plants for the production of tires and technical rubber goods as well as for the oil milling and food industry.

Since March of this year, Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH is a member company of the Possehl group which is doing business worldwide and has its headquarters in Lübeck. In the past business year, Harburg- Freudenberger could achieve a sales volume of 150 million euro. The workforce of the company worldwide is 1050 persons.
