Our rubber mixing products are manufactured in Freudenberg. More than 100 years ago, Werner & Pfleiderer pioneered the development of the operating principle for internal mixers which is still the standard today. The globally recognized "MASTICATOR" kneading machine was first built as early as 1900 and heralded a new era in caoutchouc processing.
Just as in the founding days, research and development enjoy the highest priority at the rubber mixing technology division in Freudenberg. As the first global internal mixer manufacturer, we have faced the challenges and realised that the most suitable mixer design is solely determined by field of application and operating conditions.
Thus we have developed mixer solutions even for the most discerning efficiency and quality requirements. The benefit for our customers: Each mixer concept has been tailored to the customer's individual requirements. In our modern R & D center, we research and develop not only our own projects, but also make our facilities avail-able to our customers.
Thus, customers can test the machines' properties with their own recipes and operating conditions to determine optimal operating and mixing prior to purchase. Moreover, Mooney, curemetry and hardness tests can be carried out in the center's own laboratory.
