For more than 100 years now, the edible oil tech-nology division in Hamburg-Harburg has been rendering an invaluable innovative contribution to the process of extraction of vegetable oils from oil seeds as well as in the area of refining and further processing of crude pressed and extraction oils. For many decades the company has been one of the leading suppliers in the field of screw press technology. With more than 2,000 presses sold, the company has repeatedly set new standards for rough and final presses.
These high-capacity machines are globally deployed for mechanical extraction of oil from oil seeds and fat extraction from waste animal products as well as in the chemicals industry. These machines are characterised by their reliability, ease-of-use, high throughput and extraction rates as well as durable wear parts. In addition to pressing, the extraction of oils with solvents is the most frequently applied large-scale industrial process. Harburg-Freudenberger offers customized solutions with their carousel extractors. More than 350 extractors in capacities ranging between 50 and 4,000 t/day are currently deployed globally. Typical features of these machines and systems are environment-friendly production processes combined with high safety standards, optimal extraction yields, efficient benzene removal, energy-saving distillation and effective solvent recycling. Our range also includes refining plants for high quality end products. We offer product-specific solutions with output rates exceeding 1000 t/day for all refining steps - from slime re-moval to the production of refined oil.
