Compact extruder for the production of technical rubber products
The advantages of the compact style are:
- Extruder with gear, electric motor and vacuum pump are mounted on a common frame with integrated electrical equipment: easy access from all sides, high degree of mobility, space saving, yet with enough room to easy dismount the extrusion screw.
- Complete assembly including functional test on manufacturer's side ensure quick and inexpensive installation at the customer's production plant.
- Frequency-controlled three-phase asynchronous motor: no brushes, no brush wear, no belt creep, constant number of revolutions controlled by speed indicator.
- Extrusion screw removal at the rear, available as option: time saving screw dismounting without dismounting the extrusion head or displacing the production line.
- Temperature control device assembly on a slide-out mounting frame ensures excellent access, easy maintenance and quick replacement of individual TCUs. An innovation is the adjustable flow throttle in front of the venting area for selected venting according to actual compound and profile requirements. That makes it possible to:
- Adjust the pressure built-up required for degassing "on-the-fly",
- adapt the throughput to the extrusion profile and
- store the optimum conditions for the different materials in the recipe management.
